Restaurant Tante Lucie in Wassenberg

First the good ... The location itself is very well located! Now the bad ..... The hall was initially booked for us alone .... But at some point we were told that we had to share the hall with another group, so one large hall was made into two small ones ... That would still be acceptable .... In the outdoor area, there is a large playground for the children, that is also 🔝, only there one or the other device should be replaced again. It wasn't tidy outside, there were lots of things, devices, bicycles and who knows everything in the yard or outside area. If you have a room reservation, you should at least put everything aside that does not belong outside. For the meal, delicious in itself, but on the one hand the food was served way too late, the dinner was agreed at 18-18.30, at 7.45 pm we unfortunately still had no dinner ... We were served a starter, delicious, but the bread that was put there for us .... You could pull your teeth with it, throw it against the wall, in any case you could have done anything with it. Just don't EAT, because it was rock hard and dry !!!! Nothing was right or right there .... When we passed the kitchen, a gentleman was standing in the room with a cigarette in his mouth and prepared the food there, people with a cigarette in his mouth .... Unbelievable 🤦‍ ♂️ .... That's not a lie ... It really is the truth !!!! You could write a lot more, but I don't have the time and don't feel like it anymore ... It should be a nice day for communion, anything but that for us adults. At least the part with the family was very good, but everything else is possible knock in the bin !!! The waiters were good at least. That should also be mentioned .... So keep your hands off the location !! We probably caught people on a bad day so that everything went wrong ... We won't visit this restaurant again

Were there on Thursday, July 23rd. Disappointed would be flattered, we waited 1 hour for waffles that did not come close to the standard. A piece of cake that my grandson chose was then no longer there because everyone else was served beforehand. The service rude and completely overwhelmed.

Was here for the first time today. Have to say I'm thrilled. The food was excellent and the service was quick

If you want to enjoy a successful New Year's Eve, with a first-class course menu and a great atmosphere, then you are really in good hands here. Furthermore, I can only rave about a very extensive brunch buffet in the previous week with 10 people Sufficient parking spaces available, what more could you want?

There were four of us today for brunch. The "brunch buffet" was plentiful, varied and of high quality. There were many guests there, but it was still very pleasant and people liked to stay there for a long time. In addition, the staff were very friendly and courteous. Keep it up, we'll be back!

Very nice restaurant with super delicious dishes. Whether coffee and cake or an excellent dinner, always happy. The menu on New Year's Eve was awesome with six courses and super good wines. Staff is just friendly and nice when the guest knows how to behave.

Aunt Lucie is usually good, but if a special cake day is advertised for Wednesday, I assume that there is more choice. No, there were 4 kinds of cakes, of which there were not enough pieces. When I saw that got a pair of waffles I also asked, the answer was that it was the last portion. My coffee group was at 15.30 clock in Aunt Lucie, so not too late. Not a good result.

Unfortunately, the drinks were first brought and then very unfriendly informed that there is only a menu for totally overpriced 55 euros. All around us were tense guests who were dissatisfied with the food. We paid the drinks and left. Never again!

Unfortunately a big disappointment at Christmas: - inattentive service (drinks were not refilled, orders were taken incorrectly (and insisted)); - Side dishes dry or warmed up; -geschmackloses; vegetarian menu for the same price (55 €) as meat billed on the grounds that a "meat eater" would have paid a 55 € menu. Unfortunately we won't be back!

Very good cuisine, service and great atmosphere

Full stars from me. We were with 4 people for brunch today. It was all very good. Great breakfast, great hot food and desserts outstanding. Staff very friendly and attentive. We like to come back.

The food quality has improved a bit, but the prices tightened. The ambience very nicely designed, but the noise nuisance very loud. Move chairs and tables etc. Although only 6 guests are present, I love to eat in peace! Will definitely start another try. I'm a guest for years, not longer suburb.

Nice atmosphere, if a bit antiquated. Friendly service, but not always attentive. Food okay, tasty but not to the point. (especially meat, sometimes vegetables). Desserts do not do what they promise. If I order a dessert with fruit, for example, and only find a Physalis on the plate ... Overall not bad but expandable, so only three points

We were invited by our best friends and dined and drank in this restaurant, the top was rude underground, the food we ordered was even more subterranean than the top (Steaks Medium ordered, steaks were served by the inept 200 Grams should contain a maximum of only 120 grams. Also, the inattentive behavior of the drinks was under all cannon. LONG SPEECH SHORT SENSE IF YOU WANT TO EAT GOOD DO NOT GO.

Have tried the restaurant today for the first time. The food was delicious. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Getting a drink at the beginning and then asked only when clearing whether you want something else. Nobody came by the whole time. It was not even full. And then you had to wait another half hour for the bill. The was then handed over very unfriendly. This is a reason for us not to come back.

We ate a very good 4-course menu and drank a good wine, the service was very attentive at rush hour and I cannot confirm the claims made here that all service staff are unskilled. Everyone in Service did almost everything right ... except: a glass of wine is not filled to the brim from the bottle and at the end you had to look for the staff, but - as you know, you can help people who speak ...

Very friendly and hardworking service, as well as delicious food at brunch! What more do you want...

In the middle of a nice walk in the woods. Reachable by car but the walk is nice from Pontorson Allee through the woods. Not cheap but lovely setting inside and out.
